Good morning, ladies and gents!
Today I wanted to share some images from a wedding I worked on earlier this summer. The bride, Kate, and I connected on Etsy and formed a quick friendship. Kate had a beautiful vision for her wedding to Brent and I am so thrilled to have been able to help make it happen. Kate chose the Peach Floral invitations, but added her own, custom spin by adding a striped backing piece to the main invitation. And, she used vintage stamps. Be still. My heart. Don’t even get me started on how much I love a bride with this kind of attention to detail.
And she didn’t stop there! The reception took place at the Urban Outfitters Headquarters in Philadelphia’s Navy Yard. The florals and hand lettering of the design were a perfect juxtaposition against the exposed brick and raw beauty of the space at URBN. She used the design as a starting point for all of the reception signage, programs, a fabulous belly band menu, and escort cards (addressed by yours truly.) Each table was named after a place that had special meaning to Kate and Brent. (Don’t you love that?)
Carina and Amanda of Love Me Do Photography captured the entire event beautifully. You’ve GOT to pop over and see more of this stunning bride and her sweet day (here.) A few of my favorite details? The dress. The flowers. (Oh. Em. Gee, the flowers.) The beautiful city of Philly serving as an unofficial member of the wedding party. Absolute perfection.
Thank you, Kate, for being a gem to work with. Wishing you and Brent a lifetime of blessings!
If you’re interested in the original Peach Floral invitation, head over to Etsy to have a look. I’d be delighted to send you a sample!
